Banshee 79
Are you working anywhere as a mechanic? 332434 Not Right Now Looking For Work. SandShooter
I got my private in 94. I have 400+ hrs. I dont fly as much as I should, most of my time is in Bonanzas. I work as an A/P at a Beech repair station for 17 years, so any questions about a Bonanza or Baron I can answer.
Wheatchex
I fly, but only RC sailpanes(gliders). Always wanted to get a full size pilots license but never had the time or money. Someday I will however. Also build and fly other types of model airplanes as well. Wheatchex

Wheatchex 334294 That's cool I'm going to buy a rc helicopter in the next few weeks, I have never flown a rc but I figure it cant be much harder than the real thing. Do you biuld any rc helicopters or have any sugestions on which one to buy?
dlnoss
Fortunately, I have a better safety record with the real thing. I built an RC and crashed it within a minute. Oh Well, I should have asked someone to teach me....You can't 'feel' what the RC plane is doing...No 'seat of the pants' flying. It would be cool to be good at it. I want to get one of the larger styrofoam planes and learn with those. The funniest thing I've ever seen was when my relative was getting ready to fly his A-10 Warthog and someone leans over to me and says...You ever seen a Warthog become a Groundhog?? LMFAO Damned if that little bitch didn't lawn dart about 30 seconds, full throttle into the ground about 20 feet in front of us. We were picking up styrofoam for 15 minutes, looking for parts in the dirt to rebuild this thing... Great summer time entertainment. I might try to get the old lady to give in on a couple this summer so we can have something to do on the down time at the dunes.
