You make observations from an active duty enlistedmans standpoint..I am not telling stories here...Simply telling it the way it is and was for me & 160 other I personally worked with under the same contract...We had plenty of AF squadrons come through Al Salom base in Kuwait...Not one of them knew what we were doing there or what our mission was...Frankly who cares...

 

Yes I was ranked as a Lt Col. USN while I was there...This is a ranking given to us under the Genva Convention for crisis and war time circumstances. We were not handing out orders or anything of that nature, and I don't think I said anything to insinuate that...

 

You need to lose the chip on your shoulder and get off the kick that you AF cats are some kind of braniacs of a more supreme phenomanon...I don't really care where you have been on Uncle Sam's ticket around the world...Do it yourself on your own dime and experience and I will respect it...Until then don't think you are even a few steps close to where I have been...

BTW....I somehow made it thorugh the Marines, then somehow made it overseas making more than you make in an entire enlisted contract, then somehow became an IT Systems Engineer and now work for a State University Technology group...All by accident I am sure...Us Marines...We sure are thick...

I was at Salem for 6 months. You were probably the guy in the harvest falcon yard sleeping on the tent flys. That guy was making a little over 100k a year so if you are not him just look at how easy it is to make that kind of coin.
