watkins
Now here is a real stupid one for you all... I am used to dirt bikes... and getting them in/out of the truck bed by myself was a fairly simple task (even without a ramp)... how the hell do i get a banshee in and out of the bed by myself? Its not easy. You might want to invest in some ramps. But this is how I have done it.... 1. Lift the front end up so the banshee is resting on its back grab bar. 2. Wheel it to the truck and then lower the front end onto the tail gate. 3. Lift the back end of the Banshee up and push her in. I have only done this a few times, After a long ride its pretty hard getting it into the truck. Edited February 9, 2005 by Tungsten
ellison445
put the bike in gear, grab the front bumper and lift the bike onto the grab bar. Back your truck up a little, ease the front wheels onto the bed and lift the back onto the bed by the grab bar.... That will be $22.95 and I take paypal...LMFAO Now here is a real stupid one for you all... watkins
and to the it out? just get a running start.. grab it and yank like a son-of-a-bitch so it plops nicely on the ground? or do the reverse of what you said?

Wassup350
Find a ditch somewhere and back up to it Always helps when the height of the bed is a little closer to the ground.
Banshee17Racing
If you have a mid-size truck (S-10, ranger, etc.), you're screwed. I've got a 2wd S-10 and there is no way in hell I can get it in the back of the truck. It's nice that the bed is so low to the ground, but once the front tires hit the wheel wells (sp?), they want to turn one way or another. The best solution I've come up w/ is have someone get in the truck and lift the front end over them while you lift the back end up. Someday i'll get myself a 2500 Cummins and I won't have to deal with this BS....
racer
i always yank mine ( ) out of my truck. but make sure you arent going to stumble and fall. to trip and have my axle land on me scares the shit outta me. it would fuck some dental work up for sure. Otis
Those are all good suggestions....done most of em myself....That sh!t got old real quick. pony up for a set of ramps...you'll be a lot happier...
BigRed350x
If you get two 2x6's and cut them to length and attach a 2x4 vertically to the middle of the bottom of both you will have a very strong ramp, and not very expensive. We have driven a Polaris Ranger up these with no Problem. ------ 2x6 [] 2x4 Just put some long screws through the 2x6 into the 2x4 so it makes a T shape. pretty simple. If you get crafty you CAN make them with some strong hinges so they will fold in half, but our truck has an extended bed so we just slide them in the bed under the quad. .
If your gonna stand it up, take your air filter off first unless its at the end of your riding day. When you stand it up the gas leaks out of the carbs straight down the bottom of the filter and takes oil off it.
frocashmoney24
they got the gettin it in part, to get it out, roll it back, and while your standing on the ground, grab the grab bar, lift it up to about your waist, then roll it backwards farily quick, and it should plop right onto the ground. RNBRAD
Best way I get one out is to grab the axle, one hand to the right of the carrier one to the left. Pull it to the edge of the tail gate and then let the tires roll off easy while still holding the rear weight of the quad with the axle. The rear grab bar should rest on your chest. Walk back till the front tires are about to drop off the tail gate and drop the entire quad at once. Works real good for me, though if your a short mofo don't try it, grab bar may hit you in the head.
dnhyoung
Just don't do like by brother did a few years ago. he went to pull my shee outof the back of my truck except I had some othr crap in the back also, the front wheels hook on the crap the bike steers to the left then dumps its self upside down in the gravel. Broke my clutch handle, and well as imbedding my conntrols with rocks. Can't even call that a ride of shame..LOL
bigboybanshee
I just bought a set of ramps. (2- 1' x 6') If it's early in the morning I'll just push it up the ramps backwards so I won't bother the neighbors...but if it's after 10am I'll fire it up and ride it up the ramps. When it's time to unload I just roll it down the ramps or pull the ass end off first and then just let the front end drop to the ground....Doesn't get much easier
