I know turfs are better for Hard Pack dirt. Customize the tire a little by taking off some knobs and making a pattern and things change. This is what I have reed. Turfs do not performe well in muddy conditions.

 

Do not know about Razor's. Some say IRazors are awesome. :cheers:

im askin cause the R im buildin has em and i was thinkin of switchen cause they seem pretty nice :D

also because i can just sell the turfs on ebay w/ the rim and get the money and just buy the mx's and put em on the beadlocks i just got instead of puttin the turfs on the beadlocks

basicaly razors are soft open treads that hookup great but wear bad.. turf tamers that are cut hookup awesome and last much longeri love my cut tamers

i cut ever other knob in every other row ,much better bite and still pulls straight on pavement exceptionally well :bolt:

i might not need to be saying this, but on my 400ex i have the holeshot and they have been on their for over 4 years lol. and they still arent wore out! still got 1/4 tread left and i do a bunch of ridin with it-trail, road, gravel. but between the razars and turfs go with turfs they do good in all kinds of conditions but dont wear out as fast as razors

Grooved Turf Tamers all the way. i cant remember what racer uses grooved turfs i think its doug gust?? they look bad ass too.
