01bansheeke
hmmmm...you need to figure out what you are going to do before anyone makes too many suggestions i would imagine. Running up hills at glamis....and then turning around and doing mx are two different animals. non-purpose built bikes are tough to build. I'd say ditch the pipes(sell em) ditch the carbs, go get a port job, get some cpi's or rockets, then get some good carbs. SHould be right around your 2g limit. But you'll be haulin ass oh yeah, ditch the stock head or have it milled. You can usually find used cool head at reasonable price on here or ebay. NEVER SATISFIED
i live in texas now but i make a run out to glamis maybe once a year, sucks cuz i used to live in cali, but near dfw texas is oklahoma and the have some sand dunes that dont really compare to glamis or even pismo for that matter. in all seriousness i want to make this shee very very responsiVe to the throttle and just rip through the sand. as for the mx, only places to ride around here are mx tracks so to get away from my girlfriEnd some weekends i ride at tracks... im guessin simple regearing will allow me to blip the throttle before a jump so i clear no prob... but the ultimate question is: FOR 2 G'S WHAT CAN I GET TO OPEN UP MY SHEE SO THIS DAMN YFZ 4FIDDY WILL GO AWAY!!!! 01bansheeke
yeah forget the boost bottle. do yourself a favor and look around before you go buying parts. You can often times find them on here in good shape for a fraction of the new cost.
NEVER SATISFIED
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DOME SIZES... 17CC TO 21CC?
bigboybanshee
The smaller the number on the domes means the more compression you would get when installing them. Example: 21cc domes might give you 150psi compression, as where 20cc domes might give you 170 psi compression, and so on depending on your elevation. If you go to 17cc domes, you will HAVE to run high octane race gas or risk detonation. If you buy a NOSS head from dlnoss, I'm sure he'll be glad to help you figure out which dome size is best for you

.
run a stroker setup with a woods type port (should get you plenty of power for the yfz), get some cpi's or other top end type pipe, and then switch out with a set of LRD's or comparable pipe for when you ride mx.
