Do any of you put any kind of adhesive on your air filter adapter for a tight seal? I don't want mine to get any sand in the carbs! Is it okay without anything or do you recommend putting something on there???

Your adapter plate didn't have the built in o-ring? My pro-design plate did and I never had a problem.

That o ring doesnt do much, when the air box has a slight curve to it. banghead

plus tighting the screws only makes it worse..

The oring seals are nice but when sealing against flexible plastic I would always use RTV. I put orings on all of my airbox flanges but recommend sealing them with RTV also to be safe.
