I AM LOOKING TO INVEST IN SOME NEW PADDLES? I HAVE HAULERS 20-10-10 9 PADDLES. I AM LEANING TOWARDS EXTREME'S 20-10-10 10 PADDLES?? 03 BANSHEE T 5'S TRINITY STAGE 4 HEAD WITH 20CC TURBO DOMES, V FORCE REEDS, ADVANCED TIMING, K&N FILTER, AIR BOX LID REMOVED. WOULD 10 PADDLE EXTREMES BE OVERKILL?

In my opinion they would be. A guy at Skat-Trak told me that for comparison purposes, subtract one paddle off of extremes compared to standard haulers, for example, if you are running 8 paddle haulers and want to got to the extreme they suggest you run a 7 paddle tire. Good luck!

We i like the haulers but I want a little more hook up and to be able to roost my buddies a little more :P  :P ....... I figured the extreme was a little stiffer paddle?? Maybe i should look at a 9 paddle extreme?

Not sure about the Haulers, but i belive that the Extremes have kevlar reinforced paddles. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

As i said, i use them and have no complaints. They were a lil more costly than other paddles but work great and should last a long while.

I have had 3-4 sets of 10 paddle haulers, and now have the 10 paddle hauler extremes. The Extemes hook up great, but I had 8 inch wheels before and now have the 10 inch so they aren't exactly the same.

I have a friend that let me try a brand new set of 12 paddle Extreme before I ordered my new tires. They hooked up awesome for drag racing but I didn't feel they were near as good of an all around tire. If I was just draggin that's what I would have bought, much better holeshot!

I run 9 paddle haulers when the sand is hard and put 9 paddle extremes on when it dries out. There is a big difference in my opinion. They would probably be overkill.

Why not just go to standard 10 paddle haulers?

Because there has been a bunch of bad Skat Trak haulers, the paddles break off. The last 2 sets I bought were junk, nothing like the previous sets I had. Several friends of mine had the same problem. Same riding area, same quads, just bad paddles. That's why I went with the Extreme this time, sturdier paddle.

I ran the 10 paddle 20" extremes for a weekend and they were way overkill. They'll def hook up good but you've got to have the power to push em'. I've got some mods done (i.e. bored, shaved head, k&n's with no air box, reeds etc...) I decided to go with the 8 paddle 22" extremes on 8" wheels and have never regretted it.

OR Banshee, welcome to the site!  How are the dunes up in Oregon doing?  I have not been up there since 2000, man I need to get back.  Post some pictures up for us, most of the So CAl guys will be blown away with the dunes up there.

Thanks DD! I have yet to ride this year, been busy with work and no play. Prolly head to Coos/Winchester within the next couple of weeks as the weather is starting to get decent. You ever head up this way make sure to hit me up and we'll play!

So is Glamis all it's cracked up to be? I've seen some pics and it looks beautiful there, i'd like to head down sometime but i'm told its about a 20hr haul for us and the guys here are all stuck on where we currently ride. I'll post some pics as soon as i learn how to.

BTW, you ever want to get rid of those IMS pegs/heel guards let me know...

I rode Coos & Winchester back in 2000 like I posted earlier, was in Bend for my wife's friends wedding in july no less! Duning in Ca in July is murder. Needles to say Oregon dunes were great, I need to get back up there, when I do I'll let you know.

Glamis is awesome, much larger than what you are used to, not as steep in most areas compared to Coos / Winchester. A must visit spot for any duner, let me know if you make it down this way, I'll show you around.

Send me the pics and I'll pu them up for you techsupport@eibach.com

I don't plan on getting rid of the pegs / guards, sorry
