kenr74
That guy is a total jackass. I emailed him and asked where he had it dyno'd at and if he could send me the chart. His response was "bike was dyno'd at the flintstone shop in bedrock don't have any charts, just took previous engine owners word for it". There is no way that bike is putting out 100HP. That shit pisses me off when he is basically lying to make a sale.
00BANSHEE
If it has 100 plus hp then why does it only run a 4.9 ET? My thinking exactly. The Pulse Charger pipe is the shit for 4 strokes but I have never heard of it for the Banshee.
biodave27
I know this post is kinda old, but I bought a set of these pipes from a local guy the other night. He told me that they were a prototype in-frame drag pipe that was custom made. They are stamped pulse charger on the side of the pipe, I'll get some pictures when I can. He told me his woods bike dynoed 80 hp with these pipes and he seems to know what he is talking about. This is the only thing I have been able to find about them and just thought I would post it. dajogejr
I have three 450R riding buddies, and they are all hot and bothered by the Pulse Charger. I think the guy is local here in MI... From what I've read...they are the shit for 4 strokes. 80HP? I'd like to see what other mods he has done other than the pipes. We all know 80HP can be had from a Shee...but, it's gonna be a whole lot more than pipes...for sure. Send some pikkis...the link above doesn't work... oldasdirtrider
A buddy of mine has been testing the pulse charger on his Z400. The pulse charger guy actually gave him the pipe and one for his wifes bike as well. The pulse charger guy really knows what is going on with the 4 stroke pipes. My buddy said that the pc guy, wish I could remember his name,he goes by mixxer on Z400 central, has made comments about Toomy's and other banshee pipes and said that he could do better. But he never said he was making 2 stroke pipes. If he did, I would think that they'd be good ones. Go to Z400central and check out posts by mixxer and rstaw2 zs. They both post on some Honda site too, but I can't remember the name of that one. sredish
The PulseCharger is a new wave in exhaust technology. It uses that cone on the end to actually produce a vacuum that speeds up the flow of the exhaust gases. They are for 4-strokes, not for 2-strokes. They make them for the Rappy, YFZ, 450r, Z/KFX400 and I think that's it, there may be a couple more models now, dunno. It's said to have some amazing torque gains. He is a very big regular on trx450r.org and goes by the handle, "mixxer". He is also designing his very own cam specs and his very own piston specs. Not something Wiseco or JE makes and rebadged, but his very own design and having a company forge them for him. His first prototype tests of the piston have been amazing and he has very high hopes for his cam as well. He is also a master in 4-stroke head porting, although he is not currently offering that as a product of his company at the moment, he will do it in certain circumstances. He does dyno testing on a regular basis and uses the K&N Filter copmany's dyno for his testing. As was said, he really knows his business when it comes to 4 strokes. dajogejr
Ditto...Sred. Exactly what my buddies are saying. They both have the HRC cam/kit, and they're talking about getting the whole deal, pipe, cam and piston from this guy. Told them go ahead...I'll just port and rip 'em both...
