As far as durability I use all automobile paints. I use a base , red , orange , yellow , white, and house of kolors kandy yellow , which is mixed with there clear. as far as the finish clear i use a limco c 4100 in my opionion it is one of the best clears on the market very smooth and gives alot of depth the pics you see haven t even been water sanded yet , so the shine will be pretty nice once it gets block sanded with 1000 grit than buffed. so i am not very knoledgable on powdercoating but this paint is definetly as durable as a automobile paint job. it has right at 8 coats of clear, it takes that many to cover all the paint of the flames when the 7 th is dry i block sand it to make sure of no waves , then the 8th goes on. If you want to see the master of it go to http://www.killerpaint.com/ click on tru fire :headbang:

Wow... that is bad ass. I dig that blue and black flame too. Where did you learn the tech to do that. Did you learn from that guy.

I just seen the black and blue one that looks like it has blue water droplets on it... damn, that is skill.

Totally killer work no doubt.  :headbang:  I definitely admire those that can do it, people don't realize what it takes to do that kind of work. My airbrush work looks like a blind guy try to paint graffiti.  :shrugani:
