PRO1TUBER
OK SO I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROB WITH MY SHEE...BUT I NEEDED MORE BOTTOM END, I CHANGED TO A 13T SPROCKET & WAS RIDING IN GLAMIS THIS WEEKEND ..WENT FOR A NICE 1 1/2 HR RIDE ...AFTER ABOUT 20 MIN BACK AT CAMP I TRIED TO START IT & IT WOULD NOT START SO I JUST SAID F*** IT & I'LL RIDE IN THE MORNING..MORNING CAME & SINCE I WAS SHIFTING WAY TOO MUCH THE NIGHT BEFORE I CHANGE IT TO A 14T IN THE FRONT....TRIED TO START,,,BUT NOTHING AGAIN...THEN I GOT IT TO START BY SPRAYING STARTER FLUID ON THE FILTER..... BUT IT WOULD NOT IDLE I... I RODE IT FOR A BIT BUT ONCE I LET OFF IT WOULD NOT IDLE & DIE... IT WOULD NOT START AGAIN UNLESS STARTER FLUID WAS USED AGAIN... AFTER THAT I WAS DONE FOR THE WEEKEND.... I PULED MY PLUGS (JUST REPLACED BEFORE I RODE THIS WEEKEND) THEY RARE CLEAN...I PUT MY FINGERS ON THE PLUG HOLES & LEFT ONE IS SUCKING & PUSHING GOOD...BUT RIGHT ONE IS WEEK....WHEN I TRY TO KICK IT OVER IT FEELS THE SAME IF THE RIGHT PLUG IS & WHEN IT IS OUT... SO MY BUDDY SAID MY RINGS ARE BAD ON MY RIGHT OR EVEN IT COULD JUST BE MY GASKET IS BLOWN...SAID HE REPLACED HIS (gasket) ON HIS BLASTER BC IT WAS DOING THE SAME & IT RUNS GOOD NOW WHAT DO U GUYS THINK ... KRMit
I would say rings. Might as well rebuild both sides if you're doing it though. Unless you sucked in some really bad crap that day I don't think that would cause it not to idle. Maybe you knocked the choke tube or something else loose. Leadfoot350
Well you could do a compression test. What is done to the motor and what size rear tires do you have?
SDD
Do a compression test before you just decide it's the topend. It really sounds more like the tors system to me.
FIRST BANSHEE
i would start with a compression test and go from there
fixitrod
Do a compression test and see how that goes. Maybe you just got some sand in the carb bowl through the gas and it clogged the pilot jet.

rocketboy
see if your plugs are wet after you kick the piss out of it and youll have an idea if shes getting thirsty or not . id say do as these guys say comp, check be sure all head nuts are tight then id tear those carbs off and start cleaning ,can you hear rubbing or scratching inside the troubled cylinder?
