squish
sorry to hear that. I thought it might be they needed a good break in. Well months later they still sucked. I got the alpinestars vector boots. I all I have to say about those is WOW! Big Big difference. The arc boots were the right foot size the problem seemed to be in the ankle area and up. There was too much room and I couldnt get the buckles tight.

I've been walking around with a bruised heel for a week and a half.
KRMit
I just got my Oneal jersey and pants and the ARC boots. The boots look good but are uber stiff and the buckles kinda suck. I've moved the adjustments as tight as they will go and it's still kinda loose, although the foot area feels good. Once you move the buckle adjustments as tight as they go, they loosen themselves right back up when you buckle them. I tried tightening them after they were buckled and that worked for one boot but not the other. It clicks when I walk as it loosens and tightens. I guess I get what I pay for. I may have to return them. Are the Oneal boots any good? I have to return the pants anyway. I was thinking 36" was referring to the length, not waist. Are all pants the same length? Even the different sizes? Those things only went down to my ankles.
holeshotkid
Thats the same problem I had. Those damn buckles wouldn't stay tight. Again, for ten bucks more, go with the Oneal Elements. I have them and am very pleased.
SICK BOY
The pants come in a universal length. They go in your boots,so if they're a little short who cares.

broke
Are the Oneal boots any good? I have the Oneal Hardwear boots. I hated them at first, but they were also my first pair of boots They have turned out to be great boots, but I am still getting used to riding with boots on. They are still stiff as hell, but you kind of get used to it after "SEVERAL" rides.
KRMit
I went by a local shop and tried on some Fox Tracker boots today and they seemed to fit pretty good. They'll have the Thor T-30 boots in my size in on Tuesday so I'm going to go back and try those on too, then make a decision. Are the Oneal Elements boots as good as either of these other ones? I may have to get the Thor or Fox because my first race is coming up next Saturday and I'd really like to have some by then.
holeshotkid
I wouldn't be able to compare them because I have never tried them. I feel sorry for you though if you have your first race coming up and you haven't broken in the boots. Your gonna miss alot of shifts so be ready for it. The first few times I wore mine, I absoultly hated them. I couldn't shift to save my ass. Now that their broken in, I love them.
