Ducman Posted January 20, 2005 Report Share Posted January 20, 2005 Well, I had my wife and myself on the YFZ up to the top of 5th gear on the beach sand at Horse Falls OR, probably just under 400lbs between the 2 of us, mostly my fat ass. The YFZ is a bit lower geared in the top end than the banshee and the Honda, but If you were on flat hard ground I'm sure you could pull 80+ easy if you were geared for it. I know a stock raptor has them in top speed by a little bit and i assume the banshee is the same way. svtjames Posted January 20, 2005 Report Share Posted January 20, 2005 If you read the article it says they were being prepped for baja style racing and they were both piped and the honda had a little motor work. They were using gps for the mph readout. They probly tuned them on the dyno too that always helps. I still agree though those mph were still a little higher than you would expect.
