Otis
I say jump on it. 4 grand isn't a bad price, for a bike that clean, and that modded out. your gonna end up doing most of em(if not all) over time, at a much higher price, anyway. I say do it!...jmo..
01bansheefox
put it this way i sold almost a stock 2001 banshee for 3700, only had pipes and tires. That has a couple thousand just in mods it looks.
bansheeryder21
That's a good deal. But the kind of terrain you said you are going to ride, I wouldn't ride a banshee! In my opinion banshees are made for one thing, and that's SAND! I've taken mine on some trails and some climbs and it sucks. It just doesn't work with that power band! But hey, it's all up to you!!! LRD's are an amazing wood pipe though. I'd jump on that for 4 grand. Might want to look into front fenders to keep the mud away from you as well. stu
I've taken mine on some trails and some climbs and it sucks. It just doesn't work with that power band! But hey, it's all up to you!!! 312984 they suck it trails and climbs??? dude where are living.....mars? a banshee has won the Pont de Vaux 12 hr race for about 4 years or something. I ride mine on trails and climb hills all day long and it plain kicks ass if youve got a drag motor and a +6 swinger then maybe they do suck in anything but sand......but at least you know if your on a bashee your gonna be stu

I ride sand and you ride what ever you ride! Banshee is a Banshee!
.
Just my opinion! I ride sand and you ride what ever you ride! Banshee is a Banshee! 313081 Well your opinion sucks..... You built your shee for the sand....so of course its not gonna be as good in the trails and on several types of hillclimbs....and it'll probably do better in the sand than mine....not to mention your riding skill in the trails isnt up to par since all you do is ride sand. Banshee's are a good overall platform and can be built to perform rather well in all conditions. Get a shee that is built for the woods and you have a completely different monster On a side note, if you're gonna be doing a lot of MX, a banshee is gonna limit you in what classes you'll be able to run and a lot of work is needed to give them good potential on a mx track. You might want to look into a new 4stroke or a 250R if your gonna stick to the track a lot.
Wassup350
Dude JUMP ON THAT!!!!! Depending on your district or what ever id say that would be a great MXer. It's got a shitload in suspension which will put it quite a bit above par with your EX. If you do buy it i'd invest in some PTR mids or a dynoport 2-1 pipe and definitely a trinity 2-1 35 mm carb. I only ride my shee in the sand, thats just me though. If I were going to mainly be riding mx, trac, and mountains I would invest in a yfz450. But once again, I think it comes down to personal preferance. Or if you can afford it, buy both and have the best of both worlds! As soon as my shee is paid off I'm investing in a 450.
