01bansheefox
Doesnt hurt but doesnt make a differnce, just for looks. Not worth the money tons of other tricks that will make a difference.

boonman
I have a boost bottle. It resides in a rubbermaid container in the garage. I made slugs that I plugged the holes with. I tested the boost bottle, stock balance tube, and the plugs. I like the performance of the plugs. Seems that the throttle response is right the way I want it with the plugs.... cb67rs1
shit put a sticker on the boost bottle and you will gain like 10 horse power
banshee tuner
Boost bottle seems to help slightly if your all stock but no help at all with mods. I went back to the balance pipe. Tried plugging the holes and seemed to take away slightly. If you know someone with one try it and see, hell I'll sell you mine.
bansheefreak
i think trinity or somebody has a intake kit where they don't even have a spot for the boost bottle/balance tube... and i know jimsandtoys in oklahoma plugs his with plugs... so i think it almost be better to block it off but would depend on what is done to your engine.... Klotzban1
Boost Bottle....lots of pain, no gain. I agree that there are other mods you can look at that will give you what your looking for. Stay balanced on the tube, you should be fine. Justintoxicated
I got a billet polished manifold ogg enbay for cheap, it removes the balance tube holes. Only costed like $80 or something maybe it was 60. I have great throttle response.
Rescuejeff
Like everyone else said, stay with what you have and do othermods like lightened fly wheel(big difference), mod your timing plate, pipes, and mill the head. Good luck

smartsshee22
I have a boost bottle on mine only because it came with the intake setup I have. I felt a difference because I did the intakes and V-force reeds at the same time, but I do not think the bottle itself makes a seat in the pants difference. Mainly for looks. Some advice for you duners running the bottle, take the boost bottle grommets off and coat the grommets with silicone and re-install it. Something I do so I do not get sand in the motor.
