Nighty
So my t5's are outdated. Are the rockets a completly better pipe from low end till high end? or are there drawbacks? (gain some lose some) and: Where is the "air/fuel mixture reading" thingy placed during the dynorun? Thanks
wesw
Where is the "air/fuel mixture reading" thingy placed during the dynorun? Thanks 309584 by the silencer, in the exhaust stream to get a reading.
01bansheeke
t-5's aren't really in the same class as cpi's, shearers, rockets..all a no holds barred top end pipe, t-5's aren't really all that. better all around than those pipes imo and definitely easier to ride.. All in what you want. But power wise..apples to oranges..and oranges are sweeter
sanddevil111
they are both really good pipes. i just have always preferred the rockets cuz i like how they look better. in this case the rockets out pulled the cpis, but in other engines it could go either way. 308493 I agree on that one but honestly I think the cpi pipe overall looks better thats just me...I dont think the little hump on the top of the rockets have quite grown enough on me yet to say otherwise....Kinda looks like the back of a camel...lol thats just me tho but hey the dyno doesnt lie so props on that engine dude... richybanshee
Going back to the issue of the dyno: Probably the dyno software sucks, but both pipes where tested in the same dyno so there is no difference. What is bad for one set of pipes i s bad for the other. The one thing I would like to see is the whole description of the process taken to test the pipes and the whole specifications of the bike with both pipes, jetting and everything else included so that by looking at the different dyno sheets we can more presicely compare which one is better for the setup you have. Scientist just do not test once and then make conclusions, they do it hundreds of times. SEE YAAA!!!!! What I do not like about Rockets is that changing sparkplugs seems almost impossible if pipes are hot.
