jeepman380
I'm building an extended swingarm and I was just wondering if I can use all the stock parts off the old one and put on the new one like shock and shock linkage? Do you have to buy an aftermarket shock or can I just get my stock one rebuilt or revalved? I'm also trying to decide if I should go +4 or +6. What chain size would I have to get for +4 or +6? RNBRAD
All of your oem linkage will work fine. Shock revalve may be in order, depending on how much you jump. Try it out and see how it feels. Chain size will be anywhere from around 115 links for a + 4 to a 120 for a +6.
Wallrat
From your mods I'd say stick with the +4. TCS can revalve/spring a stock rear shock for $450 or so...makes a world of difference.

Wallrat
Its not just a revalve. Anywhere can revalve a shock for like $150 or so. TCS basically rebuilds the whole shock but just uses the same body...maybe somebody else can clarify this.

locogato11283
Dont forget about longer brake lines! 307388[/snapback] if he doesnt go any longer than +4 he wont need a longer line, especially if its a roundhouse carrier.
