get a fukin clue..yamaha has the power to build the biggest baddest shee on the planet. So save your money for those bumpers and pipes and buyin a yfz 450 and get a 06 shee when they come out. definitely money well spent. Not sure where NYUK got that price though. I think they are actually addin the price of all that aftermarket stuff onto the price. But they will put it on for ya. Better geta move on..there gonna go fast.

you guys are all funny , my uncle works for the largest yamaha company in North America out in california, he keeps me updated cause he knows i love banshees. the real story to this is that the enviromentalist are tryign to get congress to pass a bill that bans the use of two strokes do to the effects on the ozone layer. the problem is that YAMAHA is a multi billion dollar company and the are fighting the enviromentalists with everything that they have. it seems that they are trying to fight the fact that it the government can use "super fuels" to put rockets and space shuttles and satelites into orbit and if they side with the tree huggers then Yamaha has threatened to sue the government for several hundred billion dollars due to the fact of the sales lose the would enflict over the years to come. the government is siding with Yamaha and looks like they will be in production for a while. the only thing that the government has asked yamaha to do is put a venturie absorber( some type of special exhuast sytem that absorbes all the toxins) and the production would not have to cease. and every one else is wrong about the 500cc banshee, its going to have a new pep shock with tripple rezies on each one :P

I heard every 2006 Banshee was going to come with a free hooker.

To comment on the two stroke ban, two stroke will still be able to be mass "keyword" produced and sold in the U.S. if they are fuel injected or have the previously mentioned toxin tampon.

dude have you not heard about that fuckin enviromentalist shit ass law they passed about 2 stroke ban...you can still ride them but companies cant sell them anymore...bunch of bullshit...if they wanna be enviromental about somethin get rid of diesils or some shit that pollutes like that...i have never seen any two stroke put out as much smoke as a diesil...I mean seriously almost every diesel I see puts out a bunch of black smoke wether its new or old....

Actually the EPA is cracking down on diesels too. The EPA has set up a Tier system that will control the NOX emission output of the engines for quite a few years this has started the elimination of mechanical diesels they will all need to be electronic. At work we were designing machines with a 500HP CAT engine that will no longer be available after Dec 31 2005 (same as banshee) and that has caused us problems because our customers want the new replacement which has a delivery of atleast 4 months on their 8 week delivery order. Also since we use our engines offshore we have to comply with the International Maritime Organization which has set standards that any engine installed since year 2000 may be forced to retroactively meet the requirements of the 2006 engine even though you couldn
