NYCBanshee7 Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 (edited) I am definatley buying Quicksand +2+1 A-arms. Now I need shocks. Dual Rate with rezz or piggyback. I have seen both shocks with the these a-arms, but it looks to me like the Elka's lower the ride height (sag) more than the TCS. Is that true, or is it just me? I would rather save the 150 and get TCS but, I want to buy something that I will be happy with. Thanks for any input Edited January 10, 2005 by NYCBanshee7 Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted January 10, 2005 Report Posted January 10, 2005 If you search on the site you will find lots of good things about both, If someone has ELKA they like ELKA if they have TCS they like TCS. As long as they are setup properly you Quote
Otis Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 I was told that TCS uses Elka shock bodies, just different springs.... Quote
RNBRAD Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 It may be the Elka's are the zero preload system. I'm not sure if TCS offers this but ZPS will lower your quad. Quote
bansheefreak Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 i have tcs zps and there awesome... never rode with elkas but i know alot of ppl have them Quote

tats4life Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 I was told that TCS uses Elka shock bodies, just different springs.... 304958[/snapback] bullshit...Todd makes his own shock bodies....and uses eibach springs, for the main spring and uses his own for the secondardy and third spring. Justintoxicated Posted February 6, 2005 Report Posted February 6, 2005 (edited) I hope you don't plan on getting your A-arms anytime soon. (specialy if you want chrome ones) I been waiting 9 weeks for my QS Swinger. TCS has both the Sag Controll Shocks tripple rates, and the dual rate's without the sag.... NYCBanshee7 Posted February 8, 2005 Author Report Posted February 8, 2005 I spoke with Todd from TCS and he said Dual Rate is the best setup for the banshee, and yes TCS and Elka have dual-rate with ZPS Quote
