Sounds like you might be a LITTLE lean on jetting doesn't it! I think you should be around 310 or 320's I would run 19's unless your crank is welded, then 18 domes. Don't use the degree key, use the timing plate and run it at 4 or 5. I wouldn't bore the carbs, you can get a new set of mikuni 34mm tm's for $230 and uses stock jets, but carbs are kind of a waste unless you get porting done.. Then sell your carbs on ebay and make a few bucks. Also run a set of k&n pod filters. Just my thoughts!

Sorry that was a misprint i do have 310 jets so your saying that stock carbs just arent enough? I do have pod filters on it right now

Stockers are enough unless you do porting, then definately go with bigger ones. Boring stockers don't give you much for the price, and plus with mikuni tm's you get better throttle response. I ran stockers on my ported bike and I had 470 mains and switched to 34's and am now at 330's and love the difference.

Go on planetsand.com and PM jstdrag, he is the owner of jims sand toys, or call jims. He can set you up with mikunis for about 230 or 240 a pair which is a lot cheaper than most places. If you have the tors yet, you will need a new cable. He can get you that and filters also. You will need new intakes, But I have heard of people heating the stockers in hot water to stretch them to fit which would also work. Good luck.
