yamaha finance promotions?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know when and what kind of finance promotion yamaha is going to have next on quads and bikes? I think the current promotion is like $39 a month with 4.9% apr for 24 months. I think that offer was supposed to end like jan 31 2005. I was planning on buying a new banshee this month but I dont think i'll get to (had to buy some shit for my truck and stuff :P ). I really needed that promotion cause i have some money saved up to make payments on it untill I get out of school and find a good job ( probably around 6 to 8 months).

After this promotion ends, will there be another offer with low monthly payments and stuff?

Chances are if you are in school and dont have a job then you will not quallify for the finnancing anyway. Also if you do get that kind of finnancing for 24 months usally if you have not paid it off by that time you will be charged all the back intrest. Make sure you check into it and ask alot of questions if you are going to finance through a dealer directly.

i got mine on a promotion..... they give you a factory credit card.. first 2 years it's 3.9% apr....... but after the two years it goes to 13.99% apr.... min. payment is $39 . also with the card you can get parts from a yamaha dealer an put it on the card... so you can walk out the dealer with yer ride all hooked up if you wanted.........

Its nice to get your bike all hooded up but if you dont buy parts when you purchase the bike it is 19% interest.

well, right now the only thing i have to worry about is paying my insurance on my truck, which is about $400 every 6 months. My truck is already paid for. When I talked to the guy at the dealership about buying a shee, he said that I would probably have to have an adult sign for me, since im under 18. but since then i've turned 18. So I was thinkin that my dad could sign for me and I pay for it, I have the money to pay for it untill I get out of school and get a job as well as pay my insurence. And I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't miss a payment.

Better be real careful with their financing options. $39 sound all fine and dandy until you dont have it paid off in the two years then interest eats you alive. $39 a month will likely barely cover the interest you accrue on it. I was pretty sure I'd have the bike paid off in a year but to be on the safe side I opted for the 6.9% for 4 years just in case hard times came about. Because remember this is a revolving account just like a credit card where interest accrues monthly on your balance, not like an installment account where you have set payments for a set amount of time. Dont be scammed by the Yamaha finance propaganda. You do have to watch the late payments too, friend made one late payment between changing jobs and interest rate jumped to over 20%. Still paying on the bike the monthly minimum and he hasnt owned it in over a year.
