MDS2106
alright here is the deal i picked up a set of douglas rims and sand tires that came off of a banshee, to put on my sons blaster, seems like the rims have a pretty good offset ,if i install the tires like normal it will gain about 2 to 3 inches on each side if i flip the rims it will be about like normal. which way is better to run on the sand wide or normal ? it does look pretty bad ass with being wide
Big Blue
i would leave them wide it will make it more stable.
sheefreak
Couple months back, dirt wheels had a yfz450 sand shootout. Featured an mx width setup, and a stock width, for whatever reason, they concluded the stock width was their preference. But who can argue w/stability. MDS2106
i guess i will just let him try it both ways and see what he likes i get a good laugh when he beats adults, they sure are ready to race him the first time but if that 10 yr old gets the best of them they are reluctant to go again especially if there is a lot of people watching, its kinda like puting a chicken on a race horse [no weight], a few more mods and a little more practice on take off he will be kickin 400ex ass Edited January 6, 2005 by MDS2106
