05Special
I got 5 gallons of 110 yesterday and the guy at the store said run it 100%, ive run it previously in other dirt bikes but never 100%. I normally ran 1 gallon of 110 to 2 gallons of 93. Can i run pure 110 on a stock motor? I didn't think it was any good for it....... info would help greatfully, thanks

It is obviously better quality than pump gas but not to justify it's cost for use in a stock motor.

stclark816
I wouldnt think it would do a whole lot if you dont have alot of compression.
gonzoret
do you guys know what octane should be used a certain compression? for example if i use a cool head with 22cc compared to 18cc? is there some sort of graph.

stclark816
call david noss 302755 dlnoss knows alot about that. I think 18 or 19 cc domes is the breaking point where you should be using race gas or 50/50.

From DLNOSS website Approximate Cranking Compression These pressures are estimates based on fresh stock bore, piston, porting, and deck height. It is recommended to check your compression after installation. NugShee
You didnt notice a difference if you have stock domes. It's ur imagination. 302984 its very possible that you may have noticed a diference. Higher octane fuel will help your shee run cooler. when a motor gets hot it is less efficient and looses power. So what you probably noticed is the little extra boost you got from the motor staying cool. Just what I discovered back when my motor was stock.
