1sreamin350
u bet cha, I noticed I was covered with dirt after riding, but it looks alot cooler with them cut.. Its like having a "PIT BULL" without his ears cropt. He would just look meaner! Edited January 6, 2005 by 1sreamin350
05bansh
I think it all comes down to personal preference. I wouldnt do mine. A lot of my friends have thier cut though.
Cotton eyed Joe
I ride only dunes, but I did notice once on an unhelmeted trip to the shitters that the sand really flipped up in my face. I'd assume anything else you ride in would do the same. When my sister had a Blaster she had the fenders hacked off. I took it for a ride through her yard and through the biggest nugget of dog shit I'd ever seen. I just parked it right there.
BansheeBoy17
What happened to you guys, a couple years ago this question was asked and you all said "if your a good rider, your supose to get dirty riding no matter if you have fenders or not, so whats the difference", cut em!" Now everybodys sayin ew dirt keep em........ sry sometimes i miss the old hq Anyways, I cut mine and I race MX and SX and didnt really notice a difference in the dirt change. Like I said... your gonna get dirty if you go riding no matter what, thats the point of a quad
Big Blue
mine arent cut yet but i think i get just as dirty from my rear tires as i would the fronts
ledofthezep
your gonna get dirty if you go riding no matter what, thats the point of a quad Exactly. I don't get any muddier with mine cut than when I had them. Plus they look better cut.
MDS2106
you can see you're front tires better for cornering, sure i do catch alot of mud in the face but it doesn't seem to throw sand near as bad as mud . to me getting dirty is part of riding. kenr74
Cut them. I get a little dirty when riding in wet stuff but nothing a helmet and goggles can't handle.

bansheefreak
i'd say cut them.. you are goin to get dirty anyways... LOSE THE DUMBO EARS..
Banchetta
If you ride any amount of mud, then I wouldn't. I did it to one of my older shees and regretted it. I dont' mind getting dirty or muddy, but I hate mud all over my goggles or in the eyes..when you turn the wheel, it just slings it right in your face. tsuther78
It does make you get a little dirtier. But if you do not want to get dirty than just dont ride. Its like lifting a truck and keeping the stock tires on. Just does not look right. The banshee looks so much better with the fenders cut. banshee tuner
I get dirtier from the rear tires than the fronts and still have rear fenders. If you don't like getting dirty trade that thing on a truck.
