2004LEBanshee
Are you maybe hitting the gas when kicking it over. If so dont
PUSH THE THROTTLE
Iceman you need to make sure you have spark before spending time on the carbs. Unscrew the plugs put the wires back on them and lay them on the head crank it over a couple times to see if you have spark. If you have spark it
iceman
I have spark, I was actually being stupid and I held the plug in my hand, shocked pretty good, the TORS is above both carbs right? The cable he unplugged went into a little black box which was next to the CDI. I'm not hittiing the gas when I kick it, I have the gas on though, the plugs come out clean, and they tips are brown but the threads arent soaking with oil anymore. I don't get why it just started last night. Edited January 4, 2005 by iceman

superchicken
try this.take out the spark plugs.kick it over about 10-15 times with the gas off and the choke off.put lugs back in,turn gas on and choke and give it a few slow kicks then a couple quick ones.kicking it over with the plugs out will clear any gas in the cases

Banshee~
Once you get your problem solved try this start up method. Pull in front brake and shake you your gas tank. Turn on gas and pull choke all the way out. Bump the throtle 2 times. Kick it while giving it 1/4 throttle until it trys to start. Kick it without throttle( if doesnt start give more gas ). When you get done with it turn gas off and run it out. I like the clear inline fuel filters so you can see the fuel.
