Engine Ice Coolant

the active chemical in the engine ice is Propylene Glycol.Propylene glycol is a derivative of natural gas. It is commonly used in a variety of consumer products and food products, including deodorants, pharmaceuticals, moisturizing lotions, and fat-free ice cream and sour cream products.  engine ice uses a 1to1 rato of Propylene Glycol and distiled water.i think they sell the pure Propylene Glycol for 15 dollars a gallon.

Wow, I did not know that. Weird Wild Stuff.

The coldest temp I've ever experienced in CA was about +10 deg F while snow skiing, and shee only gets down to about 50 deg F in my cozy garage. It does get hot as hell here in CA though and the stuff does seem to work as far as cooling..

It's definitly a lot thicker when pouring it out than just distilled water with some blue food coloring in it. Too bad though, if I was broke down way out in the desert sand I could live for an extra week drinking my rad coolant or make some funky colored coolaid with it. yum yum

I have been impressed since I switched over. Seem to be good stuff.

Yea, just fill your radiator and go, no adding water or antifreeze.  But, the only downfall of it is its not an antifreeze.  So I would only use this stuff in the summer.

my son uses engine ice in his stroker and it works great.his motor runs super cool.as for winter use,we live in the mountains of somerset county ,pennsylvania and it gets downright cold here in winter and it never froze up on him.so i guess its ok to use it year round.
