jake_bayless Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 i am about to get a set of pipes for my banshee and i have heard alot about fmf sst's but if im gonna pay that much for a set of pipes i want to get the best. The kind of power i would like to have is mid range or something that gives power to everything over all. PLEASE HELP!!! Quote
NMBANSHEE Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 FMF makes good pipes how ever I have heard that the SST's don't respond as good to other mods as the FATTY or GNARLY. The FATTY is a good all around pipe and responds well tho other mods such as porting, head mods, cabs ect.... The GNARLY is more of a low to mid pipe. For the money I personally would save a couple bucks for other mods and get the FATTY pipes. I'm no expert but this is what I have heard Other people here should be able offer more info. Good luck----Josh Quote
yamahajunky38 Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 take a look at paul turner or toomey. i have the toomey t5's on my bike and i wouldn't trade them for anything. just do a search. if your bike is mostly stock, and if you go with toomey, i would get the new t6's. hope this helps Quote
jake_bayless Posted January 3, 2005 Author Report Posted January 3, 2005 my shee is stock right now but i would like a set of pipes that will work best with more mods when i get some more cash im going all out Quote

kotin6 Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 I got SSTs and I love them. My banshee was stock when I put them on. After putting them on and rejetting I took it for a test run. thought I was gonna rip my fucking arms off. Quote
