Hack Job
ok guys i have a 01 shee with t5's and a k&n wiht no lid and jetting to match i have not messed with gearing i also have a noss head with 21 domes . do you think that these KENDA SAND GECKO REAR TIRES sized 21 x 11 - 9" are a good choice for paddles? any help would be great thanks again
kenr74
I think HELL NO would be the best way to put it. Geckos suck. You can't go wrong with Haulers or a Kings Turbo.
Oilsmoke
Haulers are Great tires. Sand Star are great v paddle. Geakos are Hmm, Oh a planter. Best to stay way from them. They are Heavy, stiff and throw sand up and not push you ride up the hill. If cost is an issue Best to save alittle more, Geckos are cheap but they
navy00banshee
i have the same setup as you and i run the Kings Turbo Paddles, and i love them. hook up like haulers but they are cheaper and weight a little more.
rptorman
When I got my shee it had Gecos on it. Then I got rid of my Raptor and left the haulers on it. I should have kept the Haulers for my shee. "Shit, I'm a dumb-ass". Skip the Gecos and get something(anything) better.
dnhyoung
All I have to say, is stay away from the Geckos. I have 2 friends that swore by them until i let them try my haulers, not they are trying to get rid of their geckos, so they can get some haulers!!!!! racer
geckos blow. sandstars are the way to go for sure. not as much hook as a hauler, but they are only like 56 bucks. haulers are 89 i think.
stclark816
Sand Stars all the way.
Wallrat
Haha...I did the same thing when I first got my shee. Ran 8" wheel with geckos cuz they were cheap and I was broke - Man was that stupid. A new set of knobbies hooks up at least as good as the geckos do. I'm running Sand Stars on 10's now and love em for everything except dragging (which I rarely do). Not much more money either.

ledofthezep
i have the same setup as you and i run the Kings Turbo Paddles, and i love them. hook up like haulers but they are cheaper and weight a little more. 299991[/snapback] Word. They compliment my -2 arm quite well. I dropped from 9paddle haulers on a stock length arm down to a -2 arm with the 8paddle Turbo's...and for the price of them compared to skat, you gotta love'm. Zephead400ex used to run the gecko's...I sold them for him so he could get some of the turbo paddles. Moral of that little bit...they suck even on 4chokes.
