hill climb
I have a Passion 12 port 4mm stroker. I know stroker motors sound different than a MX port but it sounds like a 4 stroke engine until I hit the power ban. I can't stand it. I'am running race fuel and toomey t-6 which I'am going to change. Can they be possible problems. Is there a way I can fix this?
FlatTrackinIt55
the only problem i see is that your running pipes intened for a stock motor with no porting much less a stroker..which is most likely the cause of your sound since ive never heard of this problem..get some c.p.i...you say it sounds like that untill you hit the powerband, you shouldnt be out of the powerband other than just a little.. either way, get you a set of pipes that let that hog breathe asap
fixitrod
Are you sure your running on two cylinders before that point. Even toomey says those pipes are for stock motors. I like my fatties on my stroker motor too.

fixitrod
I'm glad you liked it. Maybe you should have it shipped to glamis so you could try it out again...
hill climb
its running on both cylinders. there was a dead zone from 1/4 to wide open throttle no matter how I jetted it. I was forced to drop down to 30mm carbs to fix it and I'am still having problems. The pipes are being changed but does race fuel make a noise different? People I ran into say it sound exactly like a four stoke from a distance

rebelbanshee2
is it just the sound you dont like or a problem with the power?
Oilsmoke
When you Port you make a motor breath better. Taking in more Air. The reason T6 are a poor choice for a Modded Motor is because they don't let the Ported motor Breath . Sell the T6's and Get a Pipe suited for your Motor. CPi's, Rockets, PC's, Fatty's SHearers,T5's should be a better choice for it.
