jake_bayless
Should I use that ratio no matter what oil i use such as synthetic or castor
Holyman
You should ALWAYS mix to the ratio shown on the oil you choose to use. I mix Amsoil at 80to1 which is 8oz to 5 gallons. PLEASE do a search. There are about a billion postings on this subject.

red ore
welcome to HQ... there is a ton of stuff about this, and we all can argue about the "right" ratio for ever. Do a little reading and come up with your own conclusions.... I mix 32-1, for LOTS of reasons.....
PUSH THE THROTTLE
I mix 32-1, for LOTS of reasons..... 297896[/snapback] I mix 80-1, for LOTS of reasons.....
banshees and beers
ya, for basic riding and such 32:1 is your best bet.
Wallynut
Everyone has their own idea's on ratios, but alot depends on your oil. Pick something that is available to you in your area, from there you can decide on ratio. Stick with a name brand type oil.

iceman
I was running MC-1 in my KX250 at 60:1 because it said to run it on the back of the bottle, took me forever to get it to run, I had to pour a bunch of straight gas in, now I'm mixing it at 32:1 and it is perfect, my bike is different from a banshee but same concept, make sure you use high octane fuel too.
