Stock rear tires are 20x10x9, meaning they are 20 inches tall, 10 inches wide and fit 9 inch rims.

Stock front tires are 21x7x10, meaning they are 21 inches tall, 7 inches wide and fit on 10 inch rims.

Popular alternative rear tire sizes are 22x11x9 and 18x10x9. The taller 22 inch tires work better for mud riding and snow riding and the smaller 18 inch tires are strictly for MX racing. The most common and best all around tire height is the stock 20 inch size. The middle number which is the width of the tire is pretty much useless info, they're usually either 10 or 11 inches wide and either width will fit on your stock or aftermarket rims. The last number representing rim size is 9 inches on a stock Banshee and 99% of sport quads. MX racers will run smaller 8 inch diameter rims and some guys prefer the looks of the 10 inch diameter rims. If you were to but a set of aftermarket rims, get 9 inch diameter ones.

Alterantive front tire sizes are usually just the first number, which is how tall the tire is. Stock is 21 inches tall, but 22 and 23 inch tall tires are available. They give ya better ground clearance but you'll sacrifice some handling traits and they'll wieght a little more too. MX racers will run 19 and 20 inch tall front tires where you don't need ground clearance and the smaller diameter tires will handle better than say a 21 incher would. If you buy new tires, get some 21 inch diameter tires and you'll be happy, if you want more ground clearance.... get 22's and if your feeling like you wanna try something different then try out a set of 23 inch diameter tires. All front rims are 10 inch diameter on sport quads. Utility quads run 12 inch diameter rims front and rear.
