Does Trinity make a stage 5?

OK I work with this jackass who says that he has a Trinity Stage 5 kit on his banshee and it puts 125HP to the rear wheels. I am calling bullshit on him because I can't find any evidence of them having a stage 5 on their web site. I would also think that you would get more than 125hp from something that was a stage 5. I get about 70-75 on mine with only like $2000 in stuff on it.

Has Trinity ever made a stage 5 kit, and if so, what all was in it. Also I have asked this kid to bring in pics of his shit numerous times and have yet to see any pics of it. That strikes me as odd, because I know if I did have something like that I would have all kinds of pics.

This is yet another case of someone who can't read Roman numerals...

I guarantee that we make Stage IV kits and nothing more...

It's rather common to hear customers ask for that here at Trinity... The best is when someone asks for our "Stage 6 kit"... That always gives us a good laugh.

You were wondering how I got around 70HP for $2k...

4mm stroker = $400 from a friend

FMF SST = $300 on ebay

Bike was ported when I got it, but I did a little modifying. Figure $500 for the original port job from some local shop.

Intake, Reeds, Advance Timing, Cool Head, all the other small crap... Around $800

Lightened flywheel at the metal labs at school. = free

Bored .080 over at school = free

running 13x42 gearing.

between the boring and stroker kit I think the displacement was something like 400cc or around there I think. I don't remember exactly. With just the 80 over bore it was like 389cc I think. I can't remember the numbers.

ran on a dyno at Wyotech and got between 71 and 73hp just about every time.

I have access to a lot of metal fabrication stuff at school since I am working on an engineering degree, so I don't have to pay for a lot of the work I get done on my bike. We installed the stroker kit at school, so I didn't have to pay for the install on that...

I also made my own two into one intake manifold there a month or so ago that I am hoping I will get to test when the weather gets nicer around here.

Hmmm... The strange thing is that our Stage IV kit is all top end and not really appropriate for flattracking... Our Pro TT port job is what he should have been running for flattrack.
