ATV Magazines

I just picked up the Jan 05 issue of Dirt Wheels ( I do not subscribe ) man what a joke! Any one have a mag they like better? I subscribe to Sand Sports and Sand Addiction they are both well written with loads of good information. What else is out there? 4wheelATV? ATV Sport? What magazines (ATV related here folks does everyone like??????

I have picked up ATV Sport a few times and if I ever get another ATV magazine subscription, it will be ATV Sport. They at least admit that Banshees exist. Plus they only talk about Sport quads. I'm not into utility ATVs so I don't need to see it.

 

Besides Dirt Wheels censors their advertisers. Have you ever seen one of the good O-Neil ads in a Dirt Wheels magazine? I don't think so.

dirt-wheels and atvaction suck big time....only read atv sport once like 3 years ago it so-so. I want a quad mag on the car and driver level...you know actually informative! Even the Dirtbike mags are way better

Funny thing is last month issue of ATV rider you will notice in the sand tire review. The trx450 centered in the pic, the front sand tires were on wrong. Angled lip was to the outside. What does that tell you about some of these mags.

ATV Sport if any. I usually just get it for the adds and new product stuff

...I did pick up a copy of sand addiction at a local 4wheelparts once though...not bad...

OFF-ROAD(the truck mag) will have a write up everynow and then on a bike or quad too..not much detail, but still for a truck mag.....

DirtWheels and 4 Wheel Atv Action are published by the same company and usually have the same test and reviews.DirtWheels just has more ads.I like ATV Sport,but theres not enough pages.Someone needs to make a magazine thats thick like Dirtwheels,but without the 95 pages of ads,more quad related tests,reviews,riding areas,stuff like that.I know ads pay the bills,but Dirtwheels is getting ridiculous.

Well, if I even pick up an issue it's just to look at the ads anyway... The fools that write the articles at times sound like they don't even no what an atv is.....

Well, I can't say I don't buy Dirtwheels, because I have to have every mag with a quad in it. Dirtwheels does suck and is way biased, and what's even worse is how 4 wheel ATV Action has the same damn articles and reviews. What's the sense in that. I used to like the reader's rides in Dirtwheels, but it's out of control. They've ruined the letters section. They need to add a reader's rides in the back, cut it in half and put real letters in the letters section.

 

ATV Sport is a pretty decent mag. ATV Rider isn't that great, but hey, it's got quads in it.

they are all pretty much gay but i subscribe to dirt wheels simply for the fact that i like to have one magazine comin in just in case new products come out. that way i know about them and know where to get them. their articles suck. i mean how many times can u do a review on the blaster or banshee??? they are severely biased and whoever puts the most cash in dirtwheels pockets will win all the reviews and get the biggest responses. simple as that. check out the back of every dirtwheel. what do you see? i bet that costs quite a lot and yamaha damn near everytime wins the shootout or whatever. you notice that you dont really see polaris advertising much in dirtwheels. how many good things do they say about the predator? they really are good machines, i owned one. polaris just doesnt suck dirt wheels dicks like yamaha does. catchin my drift?

i remember dlnoss saying it cost a shit load to advertise in dirtwheels but if you want your stuff out there your going to pay for it unless you have other mean like this to spread the word.

 

yeah they suck way to much advertisements. their tech tips are really lame. looking at pro quads is cool but after a while it gets old, do something original, like loco but an 500 in a banshee frame, shit something. the last really interesting banshee article that i can remember was trinity 135hp bike, oh they had the fancy thing with all that crap and weird suspension, which was a trinity bike also.

Dirtwheels is worth it just to look through the letters section for Banshees and then check the adds. The added bonus is all the swearing you can make up when they try to sound like they know what they are talking about.

No I never seen the oniel ads. But in this months issue of ATV Sport, You open the front cover There is this Hot Asian girl in panties an a bra on a white sheeted bed

an on the opposing page is a PS2 Offroad fury 3 ad whith a quad rider roostin.

They carried the roost over to the asian chick So shes half naked with mud all over . Oh yeah the asian chick is advertizing Fuzion cologne.

Yeah I agree DW an ATV Action sucks. Atv Sport is cool but its short. Now they got Asian chicks its even better.
