Ruger Mark II - Got one yesterday

I went into a pawn shop for some tools and I've been wanting a plinker gun to shoot skunks that find their way to my porch or cans, or just plink with and something to teach my wife to shoot pistols with.

 

The pawn shop had a nice Ruger Mark II 22LR for sale in there pretty cheap so I picked it up. It doesn't look like it's had 4 clips through it. I haven't shot it yet, I was gonna break it down and clean it to make sure it's all par, but I like this little pistol. I gave $75 for it.

 

This is not a pic of mine, it's a similar one, i have factory grips and my barrel is at least an inch longer.

damn good buy for 75 bones. you said that yours has a barrel that's a inch longer, does it have the bull barrel as well? they are great pistols, i have one that has a 6-7/8 inch barrel and it's a sweet shooter.

nice little guns i had always heard good about them i went ahead and got a bull barrel browning 22 pistol for about the same money .................not really sure if one is any better than the other

 

but those little rugers are damn popular
