kdneo
Just got my bike back out of the shop. When filling the radiator up, how full do I fill it??? Right now I can look down in the radiator and see where the fins start. Should I be able to see fluid??? Also is there any special type of coolant that you have to use or just a 50/50 mix??? sheefreak
Engine ice is about the best coolant for your quad, if not just make sure you mix distilled water with the 50/50 mix. radiator should be full, just pay attention to your reservoir and fill it up a little at a time as you see the level go down(level in reservoir) Eventually it will stay pretty much at a constant level. blk02banshee
50/50 mix is fine, but it should be up to the bottom of the filler neck. you'll have to run it for a bit with the cap off, to get all the air bubbles out.
superbanshee03
50/50 with any anti freeze is fine, and just pour it full and crank the motor and watch the coolent you should be able to see it through the top or your radiator, let it run for a little while and make sure it stays full, if it goes down a little just add some more
