racer
you need that fender strat (i think?) from waynes world.
ledofthezep
Does she even know how to play? I wouldn't spend a dickload on a guitar unless she's already playing. I'd start out with a cheaper guitar...then if she sticks to it, then move on to a better/expensive guitar. If it's electric, you'll need an amp. My next guitar is going to be, without a doubt, a Gibson Les Paul SG Custom.
racer
hey what did jimmy page use led?
ledofthezep
Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin played a Fender Telecaster on Led Zeppelin I. He then started using a '59 Les Paul on Zeppelin II as well as a '58 Les Paul on Led Zeppelin III. He continued to use them throughout the rest of the zep albums and still uses them today. Also used an SG Custom dual neck... Jimmy's was 'Heritage Cherry' in color though. Gotta dig a good 'ol Les Paul...now their is one made for/after him... Looks just the same as his. WickedBanshee
ya but that one cost 16 grand so she better be worth it.....lol how good can it get to talk about jimmy page on a banshee forum? my 2 favorite things. depends on if she can play or if this is her first and is it your girlfriend just a random person. id go for a les paul. you can get a les paul copy for around 250 bucks. i play a epiphone les paul. it costs 550 and i love it. looks just like jimmy's. ledofthezep i am disappointed in you, that is an angus guitar not a jimmy guitar.......lol j/k i love that guitar. i want to get the gibson x-plorer pro next......ohh thats a sweet guitar. Meat
over the hills and far away I remember when I first head that song, I just had to learn how to play that intro. Its a fun one to play. bron-y-aur stomp from the box set is another great guitar song from zep. And don't be buyin' a big fancy geetar for a new guitar player. Buy your buddies old guitar for $50 and if she gets into it, then upgrade. EDIT: I'd start out with a cheaper guitar...then if she sticks to it, then move on to a better/expensive guitar. yea.... what Led said... Like minds.....
