cudaz101
Bubba is gonna have to mature first...I think he might be overwhelmed with all the competition in the 250 class...Unlike the 125 class the 250's have ALL the talent in the finals. Not saying he is not capable, but he is gonna have his work cut out for him in his first year...Anyone remember how hard it was for RC his first year in the 250 class, and how many other Big upcoming 125 stars failed to produce podiums once they went to the 250 class?? Quite a few... I am a diehard MC fan...Talk about CLASS... Chad Reed on the other hand...Mehhh...Go back to AUS dude... Brad
rjvoight
Bubba is going to have to fight past not only all of the top guys, reed ,rc, mcgrath, whindam, pastrana and others, but also Laroco won't just lay down for him, ferry won't, fonseca wont, tortelli won't, vullimen won't etc. If bubba doesn't get the whole shot, he is going to have to work a hell of a lot harder to get to the front, by that time those top guys are going to be gone. Everyone in the 125's just let him go for the most part, even some of the vets like Rhyno. No matter what happens, MX has needed a season like this for a long time. I think team Suzuki has the best chance at domination this year with RC, Pastrana and Tortelli. If they ride as a team look out. RJV
cudaz101
Yes....Mike Larrocco is know for 3rd 4th and 5th consistantly in the hunt...I dunno what that guy does to stay competitive but he is more than impressive at his age or for any age I suppose... Kevin Whindom is a awesome smooth rider...The thing is IMO he is not outta control enough to win races consistantly...I have always like Kevins riding style. Pastrana will never take a 250 National title if ya ask me...He is very talented but so are ALOT of others...Vullenman, Ferry, Tortelli, Fonseccea...etc Back to Mike Larrocco...I would LOVE to see him take a title at this venture in his career..If these guys wanna push him into retirment they will let him have one...haha Brad

Bubba is going to have to push to get by all these guys and push hard which could mean a little time in the dirt. Now with that said, if Pastrana stays healthy and if he maintains his conditioning and if he stays on two wheels, I think you could easily see him on the podium this season, maybe even with a win or two, and if all the other guys are in the same boat, a win or two, anyone could take the championship which is what I am looking forward to. A true championship battle. RJV
cudaz101
I agree, there is no way any of those guys are gonna let Bubba by them....It would be dead nice to see a REAL battle as apposed to it being between two or three...I would like to see it be anyones title down to the last race...But I somehow doubt that...haha Travis could easily take a podium or two...And I think that kid is ALWAYS in shape...haha...Its just my arm chair opinion but I always thought Travis lacked focus...I dunno...So much talent and no title in the 250's...Something is lacking compared to the competition...What...I dunno for sure..Just a guess... sanddevil111
when this tree hugger 2 stroke ban comes in, will this effect the AMA and the majour quad championships to? if it will i think we will see some of the 4 stroke riders from the middle of the pack coming through to near the top. all the 2 stroke riders will need to get used to there 4 pokes quick to keep there positions unless they ride there bikes like a 2 stroke. it could be costly though. 289605 i read that it only effects the sales of the bikes. I mean theycan only be used for race on a designated course and no play riding. i mean 2 strokes that are sold after the date it is passed if that makes any sense

Brad 290041 doesnt travis pastrana do freestyle in the x games? whenever i have seen him in the x games, if he doesnt get it right the first time he tries it, he will go back and do it again and again until he gets it right. ok, that might not be totally on focus but it shows he wants to try and if he fails, he will go back and try again even harder...... dedication. cudaz101
Tit...Dedication and Focus are two differant things IMO anyways...Regardless he seems to have things in the bag and lets it slip by making mistakes. I have watched him live at outdoor races and saw the same thing from him. Don't get me wrong...I like the guy and wish he found himself in the mix for a championship but I just don't think he is capable of it since he does the same things everytime out it seems... rjvoight
bubba comes up a little short watch enough said 290386 Exactly, two seasons ago he was falling all of the time but he was ahead so far in the 125s he could still pull it out. I think if he falls in the 250 class he won't be able to make up the distance RJV
bigscary
they had a quick interview with mcgrath in the final round of the outdoor mx and he said all he wanted to do every day was ride!! rjvoight
so do you think travis should stick to freestyle? 290554 I know the question wasn't to me but I gotta answer. I would rather see TP focus on racing 100% for a whole season. The guy is incredibly fast and puts on a great show. Give it your all, commit for a season and if you gave 100% walk away from racing back to freestyle regardless of the outcome. RJV
