Blue Duece
bel ray doesnt lube your crank and bearings as well as amsoil or 927, 927 seprates but lubes really well and smells good, alot of engine builders like the 927 or amsoil.....i use neo in one of my bikes at 100:1 and it works fantastic as long as the ratio is not so rich that it loads the bike up....its 6 of one, half dozen the other
txblueshee
I've always used a semi-synthetic on break in b/c it helps seat the rings better....Synthetics almost lube too well (if there is such a thing) for proper break in. steve1982
Ya when i broke my bike in i used yamalube for the first 4 tanks at 24:1 just like the manual said, but that seemed like a lot of oil and carboned up my plugs. Now i changed my plugs and using the bey ray h1r at 32:1 runs much better. Just curious if you take the snorkle off the air box do u need bigger jets to comp for the more air flow our is that fine with stock stuff.
