Swindled by bulletcam.com

If you havnt already, you can read the story up to this point here

basically i sent in my helmet cam 2 months ago and still dont have it. They said they shipped it 2 weeks ago. I havnt seen it, nor can I get a tracking number, or any kind of responce from them. They have pissed me off to no end. This thing cost $200 and i have barely used it. They dont answer e-mails or phone calls. Its been too long to refute any payments. Im convinced they have taken my money and camera and arnt giving either back.

Does anyone know anything I can do?? I have already posted on the big , sled, motorcycle, MX, and ATV forums describing their service. I hope Ive made an impact there. Anyone know anything about reporting to the Better Busines Bureau? Reporting it stolen is probably more trouble than its worth? Anyone near Woodbury, Minnisota wanna drop in on them and see whats up? These people are nothing but common thieves and i want to take them down the best I can

The color went all whacky and crazy, so I emailed them describing it and they said to send it to them. A month later when they "found" it they said "after reading your email we think the batteries are bad" I thought it was strange they didnt tell me that before I sent it to them also the batteries were brand new i thought....but oh well as long as the problem was found, great send it to me..that was a month ago... :(

I'd definitely call the BBB. I almost bought one from bullet cam but decided to go with one on ebay instead.

Also, we have a local TV station that does this weekly "report" of all the bad business done...people will call them up, tell them the story, and most of the time they'll investigate why the business was flakey and sometimes is able to get a refund or another product for the swindled customer. You oughtta check into it, a lot of people around here watch those reports.

Sucks to hear about your problems with them, maybe somehow in the end you'll come out on top

Hey RNBRAD, that sounds like one tricked out banshee in your sig.

I especially like the "rope to spark plug kill switch"...I think I may have to

perform that mod on mine. Sorry to hear about your problem rebelbanshee2.

Keep hounding them I guess. Are you sure they didn't close up shop?

Exploding parcels is an option you may concider pursueing.

I just got a responce today from the owner of the company. He was pretty appologetic and said me battery pack would ship next day shipping. Im hoping that was a mistake because they have alot more than my battery pack. He also said he would give me a voucher for another helmet cam kit, which is cool. I dont need 2 but I can sell it I guess. So it seems they working it out...hopefully the mutton head in shipping lost his job. Hopefully it actually does come this time. I still dont have much faith in the place....welllll seeeee

Well after that big apology and promise to send it out fast..it isnt here and they wont answer any calls or emails....sounds familiar  Im contacting the BBB tomorrow, they actually have a nice little web site.

Anyone have any knowledge on reporting things stolen from out of state?? My thought was to just call the St. Paul Police and see what they could tell me. As far as Im concerned if they have had it for over two months and dont send it or reply to me its stolen.

If anyone s in the Woodbury/St. Paul MN area and wants to visit these people for me that would be great too

I thought you had this one all figured out last time I checked. I'm in the Twin Cities, I'll be out of town through the weekend but I can check on it next week for you if you haven't had any changes. Post the address if you have it.
