white trash Posted December 1, 2004 Report Share Posted December 1, 2004 in order to run the differrnt domes, you need a aftermarket head. I beleive the stock head is about a 23 cc. The lower the number is the higher your compression will be. HIgher compression means improved performance and you need need a higher octane fuel. Boost bottle's are shit, Save the 30 beans and go get drunk or something Although i have no 1st hand experience with 2:1 carb, from what i have gathered you gain on the bottom end... But what you gain on bottom you lose on top. If your a MX'r a 2:1 might be for you, if your a duner i wouldnt get one Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bansheefreak Posted December 1, 2004 Report Share Posted December 1, 2004 what he^^^^^^^^ said was bout right.. except i think 22 is stock... amd you can run prolly 19 or 20 cc domes on premium pump gas91/92 octane. if you wanna get a boost bottle get it put a screen in one hole load it up and smoke it...bout all its good for other then looks... some guys actually plug the holes were the boost bottle goes....
