Chevelle: for a three man band, these guys rock hard. vocals are damn good. Nirvana: they redefined alternative rock. why did you end your life kurt? you pissed off alot of people. ACDC: you've been thunderstruck. need I say more? Led Zepplin: have a sound that is completely their own. Metallica: badass guitars and catchy lyrics. who doesn't like them? Velvet Revolver: good to see Scott Weiland back into the music scene. Combine him with the Slash and you have an automatic kickass band. Stone Temple Pilots: good early 90's rock. I like alot of their stuff. Alice in Chains: another band that rocked the early 90's. The Doors: Come on baby light my fire. Breaking Benjamin: these guys are really starting to make a name for themselves. I bought their first album before they became well known. I actually like the first album better than their current album. Sound Garden/Audioslave: the guy has a voice like no other though I forgot his name off the top of my head. the trippy black hole sun video was great. great song too. I have liked most of audioslaves music too. Red Hot Chilli Peppers: So many great songs. Even if they are a bunch of flamers, I gotta give credit where it's due. These guys are still rockin, though I haven't liked much of their stuff since the californication album. Tool: If this is devil music I don't really care. Maynard has his own sound. Sinister lyrics without all the screaming that you get with a metal band. and many more I'm forgetting also have to vent on every single music channel. fuse, mtv, and mtv2 all suck major ass. I swear, someday I'm going to make a music channel that only plays videos, and good videos at that. Some of my fav's, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Clutch, Nirvana, Chevelle, RHCP, Sound Garden/Audioslave/Rage against the Machine, Breaking Benjamin, STP, Velvet Revolver, System of a Down so on and so on. I also dig the local music here in Austin, always a good scene with lots of new bands making some bad ass music.
