Nightrider Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 (edited) Is there any way to calculate how much overboring a cylinder will increase compression.Lets say I was on stock bore and went to .040 over, where would that put my compression if it was originally at 130psi. Does someone have a link to a chart?I know pistons differ between manufactureres like Wiseco,ProX,Vitos. But is there any way to calculate this? Edited November 27, 2004 by Nightrider Quote
SICK BOY Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 If you call a machine shop they should be able to answer that for you.I don't think overboring adds much change in compression if any at all. Quote
