I wish I would've bought something like that b/c I ended replacing everything anyway . Edit: BTW, I wet SOS pad and some metal polish will take care of that rust on the pipes . SICK BOY
Worry about the rust when you have time,it won't hurt the performance.Any way with a inch of mud on it you'll never even notice the rust.

Otis
So guys how often do these engines have to be rebuilt, etc? I don't know the mileage of this one and hope it won't need to be messed with for atleast a little while. How much does a rebuild usually run? It does have a new top end on it that has low mileage. Just wanting to know what kinda upkeep and maintanance these Banshees need to have? I know its alot more than my utility atvs I am used to, but they can't go 80mph either, lol. When someone says "rebuilt engine" they're usually talking bout a top end rebuild. So you should be ok since you say it's been done recently. I've owned mine since May of 2000 and have yet to do a top end rebuild. Up keep and maint, pretty much just changing out the tranny oil (most do it every 15-20 hours of ride time, some people do it more often), greasing the chassis(sp?) every now and then, cleaning the air filter, lube the chain. I have have left out one or 2 things, but it's pretty basic stuff.
