williamjernigan
I have a panosonic camcorder but I got it about 2 or 3 years ago. It has digital zoom but it has no kind of computer connections that I know of. I want to post some riding videos on here but I don't know how to get it to work. I'm sure their is a simple way to convert the tape to computer ready but I dont know. Do I have to put it on vhs and then burn it to a dvd and then put it on the computer or what? If anyone has experience or knows how, then please let me know. I got some cool racing videos and stunts on tape of me and other people riding. nater006
Cheapest way is if you have a way of stuffing it on a DVD (e.g., a non-computer DVD writer for recording television, movies, etc), do that, stuff it in your PC's (or Mac) DVD drive and rip & encode from there. If you don't already have a way of that, you'll want to invest in a video capture card that'll accept good ol vid & audio input, or similar. they aren't too overly expensive at all. From there you can just input it off of VCR, camcorder, whatever, and encode it to whatever you want like an MPEG or similar.
