SICK BOY
If you want bottom end for trails check out a 2 into 1 carb set up,and a Dynoport 2 into 1 pipe.I race with a twist throttle and I love it,but if your not use to a twist throttle on a quad you may want to re-think it.I know a lot of people that never rode a quad with one and try it and get whiskey wrist. Also this isnt going to be a complete trail monster. About 80% it will and 20% on a mx course. WThere is one near htat we go to about once a month or two. and i see a few diff pipes ont eh page...which of the selection do you reccomend? SICK BOY
The 2 into 1 pipe gives a lot more low end then the T-5 or T-6,but a lot less top end.As for MX low end is what you want to get out of the corners fast (I use to run a Dynoport 2 into 1 pipe).Another few things you should think about is advancing your timing a bit,and having the flywheel lightened. You can bump up your timing by getting a degree key,or an adjustable stator plate,or modding your stock plate (do a search to find out how).As for the flywheel PM Boonman,he does it pretty cheap, and his turn-a-round time, and customer service is next to none. You can also PM Nightrider, because he had a used Dynoport pipe for sale and he may still have it. FIRST BANSHEE
Ok im buying a 2k2 banshee friday and ordering the following parts- toomey t6 exhaust pro flow k&n dual intake boyseen pro series reeds twist throttle and out back rack.. this is all for trail riding. What else do yu reccomend for more bottom and middle end.....and what jetting and sprocet setup do you reccomend. 283355 the t-6s are great on a stock port engine, strong bottom, mid,and good top. trinity cv intake is awesome, strong bottom, mid, and good top.v-force reeds are the best in my opinion. ricky stator adjustable timing plate without stator $35 with stator $125. +4 degrees mill head .025-.030, $25-$50 local machine shop. all these mods will increase your bottom but still have a good topend. good luck
joshv5.0
get a cool head more compression and less over heating
locogato11283
i would stay away from t6's. i would go for t5's just in case you ever decide to do any porting on your banshee. i dont think the delta3 reeds are really proven yet but there isnt anything better than vforce 2's. i would get an adjustable stator plate to advance your timing some and a regular old k and n filter will do you fine. make sure you rejet after all of this stuff. Banchetta
For your type of riding the T6 or T5's are not what your looking for. Go for a low end or midrange pipe. The 2 into 1 pipe will give you a lot more low end than stock w/ the same amount of top end. The Motofast or Dynoport are the only 2 into 1 pipes made. If you want more low end, mid and top then I'd go for the PT mids. They have the most low end of any twin pipe out there w/ more top end then stock. The advantage to low end and midrange pipes is that they deliver a smooth power curve instead of the hard hit like banshees are known for. This will give you more traction and less tire spin, but will pull way harder out of the corners. You'll have a broader powerband at lower rpms so you can slow right down and get onto the powerband at a low rpm vs clutching it all the time to get the rpms up to get the powerband to kick in and blaze the tires...Stay away from most other pipes, they are mostly high revs which won't benefit you nearly as much.. Stay w/ the torque pipes, not the high revs. Other pipes I'd suggest is Fmf sst's and Bill pipes. They are also nice pipes that have a great finish and smooth curves when jetted right. Pipe choice is very crutial, so pick wisely. Other mods would be to increase compression, timing advanced to +4, don't waste your money on reeds unless your porting it. Lightening the flywheel is nice along w/ some suspension. The front shocks on the shee really suck. Make sure you have decided on a-arm width before you purchase new shocks though. If you leave the stock air box in , then make sure you mod the air box lid. Cut the last 1.5" off the end of the lid so you still have all 4 clips. Get a K&n w/ the proflange. The stock plastic flange will let sand get by and ruin the pistons. ONce you get some pipes, put a 15 tooth front sprocket on there. It'll help w/ less tire spin and make your power even broader..Good luck and enjoy your new shee!!! Oh ya, shorten your swingarm -2", makes a HUGE difference. Banshees spin a lot and need shorter swingarms to get that power to the ground. dont worry about wheelies, that'll only happen when you want, which is crucial for aggressive trail riding over whoops and deep holes and mud.. Wallrat
All very good points. If you have any questions about some of the products listed here or if you see some mod and wanna know more about it, try the search function at the top of the page. We're usually discussing new banshee products about 3 months before they even finish R&D.

What else do yu reccomend for more bottom and middle end.....and what jetting and sprocet setup do you reccomend. 283355 This is my best bang for the buck recommendations for you and your riding style. Purchase in this order. Airfilter & adapter plate $100 Pipes - $600 - any of the FMF's, or preferably PT mids Cool head $250 Timing plate $50 Save the remaining $500 for 6 monthes, ride alot and think about tires, accesories, ect you must have or if you can keep from buying a bunch of bling bling and BS you don't need, now take the $500 and another $100 and get a mild port job/new pistons and have the crank welded.
