Decided to sell it and ive got a guy who wants to buy it but he has to have a title to get the loan for it. I am looking for a 96 or newer title. I have over $12000 invested and am looking to get $5000 out of it if anyone is interested. I have pictures and can list mods if any one is interested. I baby this bike because i have so much invested. Wanting to start MX racing next season. Located in Kansas. Thanks

Wallrat
You can't just buy a title from somebody. The title has the frame number as well as the engine # on it. If you know the name of the person it was last registered to then I think you can get a title fairly easily. I'm not sure on the specifics but its something like 2 years not reported stolen and you know the previous registered owner than you can get a title in your name. The other option would be to buy a frame with a title for about $400 or so off ebay and swap everything over to that frame. fixitrod
Okay, I got this from the Kansas BMV site. Here's the link http://www.ksrevenue.org/faqs-dmvtandr.htm I've lost my title. How do I get a copy/duplicate title? If there is a lien holder on file with the Kansas Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for the vehicle a duplicate title application cannot be accepted at the county treasurer
