super88_banshee Posted December 11, 2004 Report Posted December 11, 2004 Will be putting it in tomorrow, i think i'll mix the springs with the stockers. any oppinions on that? 291662[/snapback] I don't know about mixing the springs, we did that and my clutch started slipping very early. the weird part is, it just quit slipping so bad one day too. i'd just use all the stiff springs if you can pull it in. I dont think i would be able to ride it all day. so i mixed the springs 50/50 and it pulls ok now. is it possible to mix the springs like: 4 heavy springs 2 stock springs? I'll write a product review in the near future.. for now it bites hard! Quote
Big Blue Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 no mix 3 heavy and 3 stock or there will be uneven pressure on the clutch. Quote
Nighty Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 (edited) Thanks big blue, i heared more people say that, but with my limited math knowledge: ------------------------------------------------------ the 6 springs are lined up in a * form so if i line the springs up like this: stock, heavy, heavy, stock, heavy, heavy It should be balanced... i think Edited December 12, 2004 by Nighty Quote
