sredish
We need to hit the Baja 1000 next year with a banshee team in full force. Surely between us we can find enough people to enter the race and have some support people and find enough extra parts to make a good attempt at finishing. I know Ben would, pretty sure Mike would, maybe Tats would want to. What kind of volunteers we got out there and who wants to do it. Think I'm joking... DUNEDEMON
For the 1000 we'll need more than one chase truck, but I'm down to chase. One of my guys from the shop is down chasing for a 12 car now, chase & pit suport won't be hard to round up.

sredish
I'm looking for the '05 dates and can't find them off hand. The '04 dates are November 17 (yesterday) to the 21st. So, you can figure roughly one year. The prerun usually starts 30 days in advance, but only the first parts open up and the last parts won't usually open up until a week or so before the race. Entries are usually around 900 to 1200 for a team, depending on the class. Hunting.... f*^k hunting, we're talkin mexican desert, can't get any better that that. BenBB
I'm there. The entry's a little stiff but I can pitch in some, one of my current sponsors is my employer, heh, so I can count on a truck & trailer to get there, probably either a 4-door or a single cab 1-ton...can pick from a 20' bumper-pull trailer, 28' gooseneck, or a little 5x8 Haulmark, well by next year I may have access to a 7x16 enclosed. Got another sponsor for fuel, at least enough of a sponsorship to get my truck there and back, and possibly enough fuel for the Banshee (pump gas tho)... One other sponsor will likely kick down with a hundo or two for the entry fee. I also have a couple discount sponsors that might help if anyone is building a baja bike; 15% off PRM Products, 15% or maybe more off Twin Air filters, Dan @ Patriot hooked me up most awesomely but not sure if he'd extend it to others, and might have Works and Clarke by next year. A couple of my Wide Open Racing teammates also have gotten discounts from SFB, Elka, and Jannsen but I don't know the details. Anyway, can't commit 100% that my RZ Banshee will be ready (still need an LR crank) but either way we can count on my Banshee for the race, for part or all of it. I bet I could talk ridingorhiding, ABM-Banshee, and our teammate Jason into making it there, possibly with their quads, anyone know how it works? Like can we trade off quads or not? BenBB
Bigboy: I'm offering to use mine. Dunedemon: dead serious, if it wasn't for the entry fee I'd have already been down there... Meat where you at? Tats you down for tha trip?! Evil, Blue Deuce, Yamahammer, anyone else, who's down????
