im in a contest with a friend of mine. we are going to see who can build the loudest car audio system for UNDER $300. i won last time but it was an unlimited money class. So im lookin for a kenwood amp. preferably around the 600watt class. the exact model is a KAC-729s. id like to spend around 100 dollars so if someone has something similiar let me know and we can negotiate.

Thanks, Cole.

BTW I'm also looking for an Infinity Kappa Perfect subwoofer.

Ok back to the subject guys. First of all if your looking for a good amp on a budget the Kenwood isnt gonna do what your asking. you would have a problem getting descent power out of a Kenwood and they are very unstable. Once you start pounding on it its gonna heat up and shut down on you. I have gone through many many systems (only because people seem to need it more then myself) and have always gone back to kicker. I mid sized kicker amp will power your whole system and take the abuse. Sure its going to warm up a little but she wont shut down on you. Either Kicker subs or Polk subs are a favorite of mine. That is if you are on a budget. There are more expensive subs that will hammer on these two brands but for the money you cant beat them. I had 4 12" JL Audio W6's in the cab of my 93 ford pickup and the set of kickers I have now would smoke these without a problem. Anyway, your question is kinda to broad for a strait answer. You said the loudest stereo. If that is what your shooting for then why mess with the subs? Get some bullet proof MB Quarts or again some kickers, like the 8" mids and a good amp. The system in my 97 4runner will make your ears bleed and loosen the plaque on your teeth at the same time. Hope you dont have heart problems. this is all Kicker with a Alpine deck. Good Luck buddy
