nater006
An easy way to learn... put one of your feet on the bar. I did that just to find the balence point, plus it makes it a bit easier to bring the front end up (e.g., your center of gravity is further back)... and, if.. no wait, *when* you take it too far back over, you can step right off of it and push the bars forward so A) you land on your feet unless you were hauling serious arse, and the quad lands on all fours and kills (if you have a tether) or just rolls. hint: do not do this while riding towards something that could damage your quad (read: anything, period!) fixitrod
You can also have someone pic the front of the quad up while you sit on it and see what the balance point feels like. It's higher than you think.
PUSH THE THROTTLE
An easy way to learn... put one of your feet on the bar. 281311[/snapback] Just a suggestion put your left foot on the bar so you can learn to use the foot brake to control your height and if you hit the grab bar on the ground tap the foot brake to bring it back down a little. PolyKarbon
Yeah, and you cant ride wheelies that are only 6 inches off the gorund.
Big Blue
I dont like to ride slow wheelies i just hit the powerband and run through the gears i think it is more fun when going fast.

Really bothers polaris scramblers when I do that because the belt drive won't hardly allow a moving wheelie.

red ore
it takes some nuts..... Usually in 2nd or 3rd gear, right into the bottom of the power band, pop her up and get it to balance far far back. the balance point on a banshee is when you have the grab bar (if its still stock) about 3-5 inches from the ground. so yeah, its freeky. I can do one for a few hundred feet without shifting, but she is WAY reved out by then. If you wait till the front is on its way down do to over revving, just jam it into the next gear, and it will come back up. Most people are intimidated by the balance point being so far back, and thats what makes it hard to "master". I have a bent frame and some scares from "mastering" it myself....LOL If your REALLY good with the clutch, you can wheely it like a four stroke, but just not as long..... Usually because I'm not quite straight. I do have to say that the shorter swingarm helped a ton.
