Polished Carbs

God damn man, now i feel like a loser... Why did i post my pics... lol.. How do you get them so smooth?? so that you can polish them?? I can never get a chrome shine, just one of those dull, but doable shine.. Give me some pointers.. i lvoe polishing... :dance: I've been doing it all weekend non-stop! :shootself:

first thing you need to do is sand them over and over gradually working your way up in sanding grits. get up to about 600 grit and let me know when you get that far. From that step on its easy.

Thanks Rail. Ya I often wondered why the aluminum parts to come polished from the factory. Man if you could buy polished carbs I sure the heck wouldnt have sat in the garage doing it myself for so long. Now I just need to find a good way of coating them so they are more durable. Thanks again to everyone for the great comments.
